Our Care Services
Enhancing Independence & Wellness
At Addington Place, residents receive tailored care in order to live as independently as possible. Care services include support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene. Our knowledgeable team members coordinate with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Short-Term Respite Care
Temporary care is available for residents who may need assistance after a hospital or rehab stay, or when caregivers plan a vacation or just need some time to relax and recharge. You will receive all of the amenities and care that you need, but for a shorter, predetermined length of stay.

Life Enrichment
Our Life Enrichment Programming puts your passions front and center! Crafted around resident input, it ensures the well-being of our residents by addressing the mind, body, and soul.
Through weekly outings to local restaurants, shopping trips, and outdoor activities, residents cultivate meaningful relationships while staying connected to the local community of Addington Place. At every stage of life, we want to continue to nurture a sense of purpose, inspiring residents to engage in various events.
The dynamic programming at Addington Place not only keeps residents vibrant but also deeply connected to the surrounding community. Our daily activities are inspired by our residents so they may continue to lead fulfilling and active lives.

🚨 ADVENTURE ALERT! 🚨
Yesterday at Addington Place Gibson City, our Residents packed up and headed out for a little adventure! 🛺🍦
We took a golf cart ride to Dairy Queen in Gibson City for some yummy ice cream! 🍦❤️
And honestly…we think the Residents enjoyed the golf cart ride just as much as the ice cream! 😄 There’s just something about the wind in your face, the sunshine, and getting out to enjoy a little nature that makes the trip extra special! 🌞🌳
At Addington Place, we believe the adventure is sometimes just as much fun as the destination! And when the destination is Dairy Queen, well…that’s just the cherry on top! 🍒🍦
Wind in their hair, smiles on their faces, and ice cream in their hands! What more could you ask for? 💕

🚒🔥 A BIG THANK YOU to the Gibson City Fire Department! 🔥🚒
Addington Place Gibson City would like to send a HUGE thank you to our wonderful Gibson City Fire Department for coming to Addington Place and helping us with our Fire Drill!
Normally, we make sure to give the Fire Department a heads-up that we are conducting a drill so they know it’s just practice and not an actual emergency.
Well… this time, our warning decided to take the day off! 😂🤦♀️
So when the alarm went off, the Fire Department came ready to do what they do best! 🚒👨🚒👩🚒
We are so thankful for their quick response, professionalism, and willingness to come out and help us practice keeping our Residents safe.
Thank you, Gibson City Fire Department, for always being there when our community needs you! ❤️🚒
